In bright sunshine, on 9th June, a total of around 250 people joined the 700 Club to celebrate 25 years of serving the Darlington Community. Service users past and present along with partner agencies, staff and guests gathered for an afternoon of fun. A hog-roast, a bucking bronco, live music and numerous fair stalls that ranged from a coconut shy to a tombola meant there was never a dull moment. It was wonderful to see everyone together and so full of laughter and smiles.

The 700 Club started in 1996 when 700 people gave £50 to make a difference to the lives of homeless people in Darlington. In partnership with other organisations, it works with homeless and other vulnerable people across Darlington, supporting them to move forward in their lives. The charity still relies upon the support of local people, so if you would like to be part of what we do, click JUBILEE 700 at www.700Club.org.uk, or text JUBILEE on 70580 to donate £10.

Or, if you would like to join our team, then either call us on 01325 366397 or come along to Roadway House, Beaumont Street West, DL1 5SX, and find about the roles we have on offer.
