Church View Apartments

In 2019, in partnership with Home's England, the 700 Club purchased Pembroke Court on Neasham Road in Darlington. Renamed Church View Apartments, it has been converted into 32 self-contained, one bedroom flats to use as move-on accommodation for individuals who have the potential to live independently but who are not yet ready to do so. The keys were handed over by the developers on 5th Oct 2020, staff have been appointed and residents have started occupying the building.

Those who are supported by the service can expect support that is:

Person-centred                                         Strengths-based

Trauma informed                                      Culturally appropriate

Housing focussed                                     Outcome driven

Support will be provided 24/7 to individuals for up to one year. Our aim, through support, up-skilling, and confidence building, is to help people make a full transition to living independently.

To provide personalised support to an individual for a year costs around £3000. The 700 Club have to raise this money; it does not come from the Government or any other public body. You can be part of an individual's future by making a donation, or perhaps, by sponsoring an individual throughout their stay in this project.
