The 700 Club Early Intervention Project is a partnership with Darlington Borough Council and Durham Police. It evolved from the Government's Trailblazer Fund aimed at the prevention of homelessness. The idea of the project is to use expressions of concern made to the adult Safeguarding Team as an early indicator of a potential housing crisis, to engage with the subject of the concern, and so provide  the earliest possible response to avoid homelessness or housing need. The service is very proactive; everyone needs a helping hand from time to time.

The project is contributes to the wider strategic aim of reducing cost through prevention; proverbially, "a stitch in time saves nine".

A Drop-in operates at 700 Club Head Office, Friday 10 am - 2.00 pm
