The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is far from over, in spite of double and triple vaccination. We continue to do all we can to make sure that those who use our services are as safe as possible.

Sadly there are some individuals who seem intent on making a bad situation worse by preying on the isolated and lonely. Please be careful to avoid scams.

What we are doing

  • We are working on a daily basis with national and local agencies such as local NHS Trusts, the Local Authority and Public Health England, to make sure that we have the best advice to support you in the right way
  • We are using safe methods of face to face contact and continuing to maintain all our support services. We are using telephone contact, emails or text messaging much more.
  • We are remaining available if you are frightened or need help. Support workers are on hand to answer any questions that you might have.

What people can do to stay safe:

  • Keep in touch with the news and good sources of information such as NHS 111     https://111.nhs.uk/
  • Wash your hands often using soap and water and follow other government advice.
  • Stay away from other people - keep your distance even from friends
  • If you think you may have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with someone else who does, and cannot self-isolate, contact us for advice. If your symptoms become worse then contact 111
  • Get vaccinated if you haven't done so already.
